We had a great deal of rain yesterday morning. When we have heavy rain, the road floods. We came home in the afternoon to see this Snapping Turtle in the yard. It must have swam up from the water run off retension pond. It disappeared quickly.
Lisa and Mary remember the snapping turtle that was in the pool years ago? Lisa got Pat's leather gloves and scooped it out of the pool. It was much larger than this one. I wonder where it went off to?

Maybe this was a grandchild of the one that Lisa saved and it came back to see where it's roots were from :)
